About Me

Hi, my name is Brian Kim and I am a startup-holic.

I got my startup bug when I co-founded a game hosting company during my first year of college. This was also the first time I got my hands dirty in server administration and shell scripting in order to provide a customized dashboard for our clients to manage their services.

The following year, I got involved in another project called Bruin Food (thanks Wayback Machine!), which was basically a Yelp for UCLA. The website gained a lot of traction among students and staff, and it was featured on the school paper at one point.

I’ve dabbled in a few other projects since then, but most notably, I was the co-founder of AppAdvice.com, one of the first blogs to cover all things iOS related.

I currently operate a network of websites that receives over 1.5 million unique visitors a month. Recently, I decided to move up to San Francisco to work full-time on my next start-up, with my long time friend and business partner Michi. I can’t wait to show the world what we are all about. Stay tuned!
